Employment Opportunities - Senior Bookkeeper / MYOB Consultants
If you are an experienced bookkeeper on MYOB (first preference) or Cashflow Manager (second preference) with a minimum of 4 years solid bookkeeping experience, and have the following traits, we would love to see your resume.
- Ability to work alone unsupervised, but also work well as a team as required
- An action person - you need to be someone who just "gets in there and does it"
- Above average attention to detail
- Ability to follow sets systems and processes, but also happy to participate in providing ideas for improvement
- Be reliable, honest, personable and have a great attitude.
- Be prepared to be tested and screened (including interview, reference checking, MYOB test, typing test, personality test and Federal Police Check at very minimum).
Employment Opportunities - Junior Trainee, Administrator or Office Junior
Juniors (under 18) should:
- Want to work hard
- Be reliable
- Have good school grades
- Have good school report comments - do your teachers enjoy working with you and praise you?
- Experience is not necessary, but an excellent attitude is
- Live in the Redlands - close to Thornlands (eg Thornlands, Cleveland, Sheldon, Victoria Point etc)
- Have the support of your parents, especially if you are at school, or don't have a car.

One Success Story of a Staff Member ....
Tracey started working for Stone Consulting in 2007 whilst still in high school as an Office Junior. She started with tasks such as filing, cleaning and typing. After a few months of showing great initiative and maturity, she was promoted to the position of Bookkeeper and Supervisor. She was using MYOB and providing bookkeeping services to clients as well as supervising 2-3 junior staff. In 2009 she then moved to becoming the Director's Personal Assistant and took on additional and more rewarding tasks such as marketing, webpage maintenance, promotional designs. In 2009 she was a Finalist in the Redland Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards in the category of "Young Achiever". Just goes to prove that you can advance in Small Business.
